I am named as Hiraman in this material world. I am a father of two, often enjoy a balanced lifestyle. When away from computer, I engage with more natural and mindful experiences like gardening, painting, trekking, outdoor games etc. More importantly, I always look forward to my morning routine of yoga and meditation that helps me to attain my inner peace before getting ready to tackle the day ahead.
Through the covid times, I faced a couple of episodes of stress and anxiety. I am usually an optimist person and try all good things that keep me alive and always on the go. Probably, that’s why I recovered sooner by myself. I moved on but I always wanted to find out if there is anything in the world that could help me to prevent mental issues in future. I had started yoga but was treating it more or less like any other exercise although I was bit fascinated about the spiritual part of it.
The December of 2020 provided me an opportunity to go on a Yoga retreat in Rishikesh. I was about to find the most effective and unconventional solution to my problems. I went through 7 days (50 hours) of intensive Yoga teachers training program that not only included postures, breathing exercise but also an introduction to life philosophy. Indeed, my habits and life had changed for good. I understood the true meaning of yoga and meditation which is otherwise absolutely twisted and misinterpreted by the influencers and businesses. ‘Experience is the best education’ became the most impactful statement in my life. I unlocked my hidden potentials, alleviated my stress and improved my sleeping quality.
I have been working in IT Security for decades and have experienced ultimate work stresses during my career at an operation centre as well as working as a delivery engineer on critical projects. Today, If I am given an another chance to live those years again then I think I could live them more better.
The purpose of this platform is to help you re-assess your way of living the life. Just because a lot of people are doing something in a particular way does not mean it has to be right. We need to challenge our prejudice and re-engineer our way of living.
If you think you are doing great then, do you think you can get a ‘Yes’ for the very question – “Are we living right?”.
