are we living right?

Religion brings discipline no matter what faith it comes from. Even if it isn’t a faith based system, like Yoga which doesn’t believe in god, one will live a satisfying life.

Do you practice religion?

A belief in religion has a lot to do with where that person is brought up. I am brought up in a Hindu family and so workshopping gods and goddesses is a part of my culture.

Religion is like a framework or a manual usually attested by a particular authority that guide us how to lead a harmonious but a disciplined life. Even if one doesn’t follow a faith based system imagine what happens if there is no discipline in his/her life. For instance, that person may wake up at noon everyday, eat whenever feels like, do whatever feels like, talk and act based on lethargic instincts. For sure, that person will have an easy life but not satisfying.

Shankyas in Yog sutra do not believe in god. Rather they say that every one has an ability to experience a god within themselves.

Following a system blindly will never be helpful. Experience is the best education. So experience first and then establish your believe in a system rather than following herds of people who know nothing and profess their religious system to be the greatest of all.

I have been incorporating yoga sutras aphorisms and asanas in my life for 3 years now. I see a good change and therefore will continue to follow.

I didn’t start believing it first instead I experienced it first.
